At our core Photo Hive specialise in Newborn & Family Photography, but I think it’s much more then that. A photo session with us is a record of your family, it’s not just about the photo’s but everything that happens in getting them. Our head photographer, Julia Bielan has been creating memories for families for over a decade and was trained by American photographer and mentor Joe Craig in his Missouri studio. “When I am shooting newborn babies I know that I am capturing something special, these little creations are going to change so much over the coming years and what I do is make sure everyone has a record of where they have been.” Julia says.

Did you know? The best time to have your newborn baby photographed is within the first two weeks after giving birth. This is something often overlooked by new mums with all the going ons near the end of your pregnancy. For this reason we recommend making your newborn photography booking before giving birth to avoid disappointment as we are usually booked out well in advance.
