These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings, products, services, and purchases made with Photo Hive.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once the required payment, deposit, or sitting fee has been received and acknowledged by Photo Hive.

Payments

All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment terms for sessions, products, and digital image packages will be outlined at the time of booking or purchase.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your session, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

Cancellations

Payments, deposits, or sitting fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Where we agree to transfer a booking, the payment may be applied to a future session within a reasonable time frame.

Session experience

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and following any preparation guidance provided before the session. Late arrival may reduce shooting time.

Image selection and ordering

Any inclusions, credits, bonus offers, or package details are subject to the specific promotion or product purchased. Additional images, products, albums, prints, wall art, or upgrades are available at current pricing.

Editing and artistic style

Photo Hive retains creative control over the editing and artistic style of delivered images. Requests for additional retouching or image alterations may incur an extra fee.

Turnaround times

Estimated turnaround times for galleries, products, albums, or other deliverables may vary depending on workload, supplier timelines, and the product ordered.

Prints and products

Colours may vary slightly between screens, prints, and products due to display calibration and printing processes. Product sizes and finishes are as listed at the time of ordering.

Copyright

All images remain the copyright of Photo Hive unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive personal-use rights only for purchased digital images unless broader usage rights are expressly granted.

Social media and portfolio use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Photo Hive may use images from sessions for portfolio, website, social media, studio display, awards, or promotional purposes. If you would prefer your images not be used, please advise us in writing before your session.

Liability

While reasonable care is taken at every stage, Photo Hive shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to illness, weather, equipment failure, supplier delays, or events that prevent the session or delivery from proceeding as planned.

Website and store information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website content, pricing, offers, and product information accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors or update details at any time.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
